Three Way Links
Three-Way Links = One-Way Links
If your looking for links the purpose of quick high search engine rankings, good luck. This approach simply is not viable. If your in the internet business of promotion remember that as big as the internet is, you will still build a reputation to live up to or live down.
If your site has something significant and worthwhile it will attract links over time. Put quality content on your site will attract the tight links that help you. Good Content "aka link bait" will attract good quality links.
It's still about content and the bottom line is quality content adds up to quality links. The best links are those that come with no strings attached. Avoid artificial linking schemes. What does this mean? Any link that you get or create with the intention of fooling a search engine's algorithm into thinking that your link was freely earned.
Ouch that means paid links, swapped, or engineered is less trustworthy than a link that was freely earned. Don't rely completely on reciprocal links as any site with all reciprocal links will look artificial and contrived. Put content that is link-worthy on your site and seek links for that content on it own merits.
Find search engine trusted sites. What is a trusted site? That will differ with the type of content you have but article directories with a page rank of 3 or better will be a good place to start.
The current "Adsense Craze" has spawned more search engine spammers intent on making a buck from ppc advertisers than any single search engine development.
These publishers put up hundreds if not thousands of "link bait"websites for targeted niche keyword phrases with the hopes of getting traffic from search traffic and then click thru's on the pay per click ads which Google then pays the website owner.
Most of these sites have little or no content and exist for the sole purpose of getting a click on the adsense links. If your site like this, you are most likely wasting your time or at best will gain very little in return compensation for your time.
On the other hand, provide reputable, relevant and trusted content to your visitors and you will prosper.
